Sumeet Chabria is the CEO and Founder of ThoughtLinks. He is an American banking executive, AI and technology strategist, and enterprise transformation advisor. 

He leads ThoughtLinks, a strategic advisory firm for C-suite leaders in banking and capital markets focused on AI-driven transformation.  He partners with Fortune 500 banks and capital markets firms to accelerate AI-enabled modernization, operating model design, and innovation.

Prior to founding ThoughtLinks, Sumeet served as Global Chief Operating Officer for Technology and Operations and Head of Global Business Services at Bank of America, where he led 50,000 people and provided strategic oversight to a 90,000-person global organization. Previously, he spent more than two decades at HSBC in the U.S. and Europe, culminating in his role as Global Chief Information Officer of Banking and Markets, where he spearheaded the “One HSBC” global modernization initiative across securities and wealth platforms.

Sumeet holds active industry advisory roles, serving as a Senior Advisor to Genesis Global and an Accenture Luminary (Strategic Advisor) in Banking and Capital Markets. He is a faculty member (instructor) at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, where he teaches AI strategy and digital transformation to executive-level CIOs and CDOs. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Liberty Science Center and is a Trustee of SciTech Scity.

Sumeet holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and dual master’s degrees from Stony Brook University, with executive education from the University of Michigan’s Ross School, IMD Lausanne, and London Business School. He led the HSBC team that won the Euromoney Awards for Excellence in wholesale banking technology innovation and was named to Business Insider’s 100 People Transforming Business.
