Elizabeth E. Moum is a shareholder in the Securities Litigation Practice of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig. Elizabeth regularly defends major Wall Street brokerage firms and other financial institutions in employment disputes in arbitration, before administrative agencies, and in state and federal court. Elizabeth also has substantial experience handling SEC, FINRA, and state regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement proceedings, as well as customer arbitrations. Elizabeth has handled dozens of arbitrations involving millions of dollars in controversy to final award. Elizabeth has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as a Florida Super Lawyer “Rising Star,” as well as been honored with the South Florida Business & Wealth “Up and Comer” Award, which recognizes professionals who have achieved excellence in their careers, shown a commitment to their community, and demonstrated leadership. Elizabeth serves as Philanthropy Co-Chair of the Southeastern Women in Financial Services (SWIFS), a network of corporate counsel and outside legal advisors in the financial services industry. Elizabeth coordinates and actively participates in SWIFS’s volunteer efforts with its philanthropic partner, the Pace Center for Girls, a non-profit that provides girls and young women with opportunities for a better future through education, counseling, and training. Elizabeth received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
