Greg A. Kyle

Greg Kyle is a director with The Bates Group’s New York office. He uses his extensive background in the securities industry, specifically investment research and fund management, to consult and provide expert witness testimony on investment management and capital market matters, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, private placements, valuation, volatility, market manipulation and due diligence issues. As a capital markets expert, Mr. Kyle has provided analysis, written numerous expert reports, and testified in various forums including in U.S. District Courts, federal criminal cases and arbitrations.

Prior to Bates, Mr. Kyle was the founder and chief analyst for Pegasus Research, an internationally recognized investment research firm. With his firm he provided capital market analysis, as well as industry and company-specific research on public and private companies. He has also produced a number of topical studies including comprehensive financial risk analyses in conjunction with Dow Jones and Barron’s, the Pegasus Strategy Insights, the Pegasus IPO Monitor, the Pegasus Credit Watch, and others. Mr. Kyle also wrote a weekly column for the Wall Street Journal Interactive edition and other financial newspapers throughout the world.

Before founding Pegasus Research, Mr. Kyle worked for Union Bank of Switzerland in Zurich, serving as the head of the North American research team where he was responsible for formulating U.S. investment policy for UBS in Switzerland. During the time with UBS in Switzerland, he also successfully managed several U.S. tranches of a global asset allocation fund. Mr. Kyle began his professional career in the investment industry with Credit Suisse Holding as a research editorial associate.
