John Horkan

LSEG Post Trade and LCH Group COO, LCH Group

John is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Americas for LCH Group. As COO, he is responsible for ensuring the execution of the group’s integrated global strategy, working closely with LCH’s regulated CCPs and focusing on best-in-class risk management, operational resiliency and efficiency. As Head of Americas, he is responsible for business performance and external engagement. He serves as a Director on the AcadiaSoft Board representing LSEG. John has served on the CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee since 2019.

Prior to joining LCH in 2012, John held various positions over 19 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan. John started his career as an Investment Grade Bond Salesperson, before serving as Global Markets Sales COO, defining client strategy and developing client information analytics. Lastly, he served as Managing Director, spearheading global regulatory reform efforts.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and economics from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
