Katie Goldstein is co-head of Akin’s White Collar Defense & Government Investigations practice. She represents banks, private funds, corporations and their senior executives in high-stakes investigations and enforcement proceedings led by the DOJ, SEC, CFTC and other regulators.

Katie’s practice builds on over a decade of experience as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she served for several years as Chief of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force, during which time she supervised complex, high-profile securities enforcement matters. Ranked Band 2 by Chambers USA, Katie has been recognized by numerous publications, and she is a thought leader and frequent speaker on enforcement matters.

Katie received her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, after which she clerked for the Honorable Karen Nelson Moore on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
