Managing Director, Oyster Consulting LLC

Lisa Robinson is a Managing Director, with Oyster Consulting LLC, where she assists her clients with all aspects of broker-dealer registration and compliance.

Prior to joining Oyster, Lisa served over 25 years with FINRA, most recently as the Senior Director of the Membership Application Program (MAP) group. While in this role, Lisa collaborated closely across numerous FINRA departments, assessing risk, providing mitigation, strategy and guidance relating to broker-dealer operations. While at FINRA, she was a member of FINRA’s Digital Asset Policy group and worked closely with Office of General Counsel on interpretative issues, new rules and overall policy guidance. Prior to joining the MAP group, Lisa was an Associate Director in FINRA’s examination program. Lisa was a recipient of FINRA’s Chairman’s Award for her innovative approach and implementation of the MAP group’s “Fast-Track” program, which takes a risk-based approach to the FINRA application process.  Lisa is a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional.
