Steve is a partner and has more than 30 years of experience serving financial services clients, focused on investment banks, broker-dealers, commercial and retail banks.

He has extensive experience in securities operations, settlement and custody, equities and fixed-income trading and financing activities, innovative financial instruments including digital assets/cryptocurrencies, broker-dealer regulatory compliance, including net capital and customer protection rules and related accounting and reporting matters.

He has served for more than 10 years as an EY representative to the AICPA Stock Brokerage and Investment Banking Expert Panel, having recently completed three years as chair of the panel. He also serves as an EY industry liaison to securities regulators including the SEC, FINRA, CFTC and NFA, among others.
