Senior Manager, Tax Technology & Transformation, Ernst & Young

Uri is a New York-based Senior Manager with over 19 years of experience in the Financial Services industry serving clients in Banking and Capital Markets focusing on Cost Basis, Tax Reporting and Withholding Operations and Technology. Uri focuses on cost basis reporting, federal withholding and reporting (1099 and 1042-S). Most recently Uri has been concentrating on assisting both institutional and retail clients with tax documentation, withholding and cost basis reporting implementations including developing business requirements and integration with upstream source systems.

Uri leads transformation for the Customer Tax and Reporting Operations (CTORS) practice within the Financial Services Office of Tax Technology & Transformation at EY, where he leads teams to design, implement, and operate our transformation and managed services.  Uri has led multiple customer tax focused projects with the primary objective of ensuring compliance and process improvement where he liaised frequently with Tax Operations, Technology and Corporate Tax teams

Prior to joining EY, Uri held positions in Operations at various financial institutions, including Barclays, Janney and Merrill Lynch, focusing on information reporting with a concentration in cost basis. Uri has gained experience across multiple cost basis, tax documentation, withholding, reporting and back office processing platforms throughout his career.
