Principal Capital Markets Specialist, Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Brian is a Principal Capital Markets Specialist on the Worldwide Financial Services team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Based in New York, his core focus at AWS is to help buy-side firms, specifically in wealth and asset management, leverage AWS services to transform their businesses. He also supports investment banks, broker dealers, and fintechs in developing their cloud strategies. Brian has more than 20 years of experience in developing solutions for capital markets companies.  Prior to joining the Capital Markets team at AWS, Brian led the financial services category for AWS Marketplace, where he was responsible for identifying and partnering with Independent Software Vendors to expand and scale their businesses within the financial services vertical.

Before AWS, Brian held senior leadership positions in product management, strategy, and business development at Vela Trading Technologies, S&P Global, Capital IQ, and Thomson Financial, where he supported customers across investment banking, wealth management, asset management, and electronic trading in their technology transformations.
