Craig Gurien

Director of Product Management for Equities and Clearing Service, DTCC

Craig Gurien is Director of Product Management for Equities and Clearing Services at DTCC where he is responsible for managing NSCC’s Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS). Within this role, he leads several initiatives to enhance and modernize the ACATS system that increase efficiencies and add value to the Equites and Clearing Industry. Craig currently serves on the SIFMA Customer Account Transfer Forum Leadership Committee, where he helps to steer the strategic direction of the transfers business across the industry.

Prior to his role in clearing services, Craig held several other product management positions at DTCC. Most recently, he served as Director of Product Management in the Insurance & Retirement Services division, where he assisted to develop many of the current suite of insurance products including the ACATS for insurance process.

Craig has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry and has been with DTCC since 1999. Prior to his role at DTCC, he worked as a Supervisor at SunAmerica Mutual Funds. He has a degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA degree from Baruch College in New York City.
