Keith Zielenski

Managing Director, Protiviti

Keith Zielenski is a managing director with Protiviti and leader of its Security and Privacy practice for the financial services industry. Based in New York, he has more than 20 years of experience in recommending, developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity programs for global clients.

Before joining Protiviti, Zielenski was a managing director for Application Security and Cyber Risk Services at a Big Four accounting firm, where he led its Secure Software Enablement practice. Earlier in his career, he served in several other leadership roles, including Vice President of Professional Services and Senior Director of Customer Engagement. Since 2016, Zielenski has also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at Fordham University.

Zielenski holds a master’s degree in engineering management and a graduate certificate in information security management from George Washington University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from George Mason University and was a Fulbright Scholar in information security at the University of Göttingen in Germany. Keith is a Certified Information Security Auditor and served as chairman of the board of the Fulbright Academy of Science and Technology from 2009-2011.
