Yoon-Young Lee is a partner in WilmerHale’s Securities Department and co-chair of its Securities and Financial Regulation Practice. Her practice has particular emphasis on broker-dealer regulation and securities compliance policies and procedures. Ms. Lee advises financial institutions on regulatory and compliance matters, including the handling of confidential information and conflicts of interests, information barriers, loan trading, research analyst independence, sales practices, trading issues, electronic communications, record retention, supervision, and surveillance measures. She has extensive experience with regulatory and compliance reviews, audits and examinations, as well as government and internal investigations. Ms. Lee is recognized as a national leader in financial services regulation: broker dealer regulation in the 2008-2021 editions of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She received her JD from Harvard Law School and her BA from Johns Hopkins University.
